The Great Mead Hunt

We had what is going to be our first annual medieval-themed Feast of Fools yesterday, and part of it is the Great Mead Hunt.  We travelled out to Sooke to visit Tugwell Creek Meadery and we came back with this haul.  The mead is delicious and we consumed a fair amount of it!  :-)

I found yesterday that I am being promoted from a Clerk 9 to a Clerk 14, with a pay jump (from what I can tell it's $3 more an hour).  What a great way to start my weekend. :-)
